The main concern of the patients while doing the lingual braces treatment is regarding the food items to eat. As the braces are applied forms inside, one needs to be very particular about the food items to eat.
The main thing while eating the food must be that it must be softer and lesser chewing.
Some of the suggested food items to eat are Puddings, Pancakes, Rice, Bread, Pasta, Soup, Mashed Potatoes, Cheese, etc.
Some of the food items to avoid include hard rolls, bubble gum, caramel, popcorn, chips, nuts, sugary food, raw carrots, corn, etc.
Do these Lingual braces hurt?
When you attach the lingual braces are that you may feel discomfort during the initial days. Eating may also be difficult making it a little irritation like feel. However, after a few days, you will be much comfortable and it will not hurt you.
Just make sure that you avoid eating certain food items that are mentioned above. Also, when you use the rubber bands during the lingual braces it can cause trouble in initial days. Still, after a few days all the things will be very easier.

The health insurance generally covers some part of the orthodontic treatment in any kind of braces treatment. However, you need to check the points of the policy properly with proper consultation while looking for the healthcare cover for the Lingual Braces.
